Since 2014, green-fingered Vauxhall employees have helped support the planting of more than 1,000 trees but they have recently grown their commitment to supporting our unique and tangible green project further by joining our ‘20 by 2020’ programme.
Respect for the environment- that’s what survival and bushcraft skills expert Mark Kirby teaches his pupils and it’s something that’s close to us at the Heart of England Forest, too.
Blessed with blazing sunshine, almost 700 people flocked to an exclusive open day at the Garden of Heroes and Villains in late May. The garden is only open to the public on rare occasions, but thanks to the extraordinary success of our most recent open day we plan to throw open the gates again on Saturday 6 August, and this time we’ll be joined by Hawkwise Falconry.
Orchids come in all shapes, sizes and colours, usually with one or more flowers on a single stem or spike. There are around 50 wild species in Britain, and the Heart of England Forest is home to many, although they can be a challenge to find!
In June we were delighted to welcome back the Dennis sales team for their annual team build and camp out event at our Middle Spernal site. It’s a day where they look to develop leadership skills, encourage collaboration and also welcome new starters to the company.
