The two-day event saw a total of 37 motoring journalists join us for an all-round driving experience at the Forest.
Having ended the 2016-17 planting season with another 180,000 new native broadleaf trees planting in the Heart of England Forest we are proud to announce this has led us to reach the milestone of 1.6 million trees planted since 1996.
Who is your hero or villain? Visit our late founder’s Garden of Heroes and Villains and see over 50 life-sized bronze sculptures. The public open day will feature a host of activities including a yew tree maze, children’s quiz and poetry garden.
Haydon Way Wood is a great place to see wildflowers in May. Follow the waymarked trail through meadows, along woodland and past the River Arrow. There are wonderful views and please do share your wildlife sightings with us.
It’s been lambing time on the Heart of England Forest farm and our shepherd Claude has been busy welcoming over 600 new-born lambs to our flock. Seventy of our ewes produced triplets and two of our Jacob ewes produced quads.
