Virtual bluebell walk 2020
Our annual bluebell wood walk was sadly cancelled this year due to Covid-19, so we are bringing the bluebells to you at home instead. Sit back and experience a virtual stroll through the beautiful bluebell wood from the comfort of your own home.
Ancient woodlands in the Forest
This spectacular display of bluebells is in Alne Wood, a beautiful, ancient woodland that we protect within the Forest. The Forest covers a mosaic of habitats across nearly 7,000 acres of land, including 600 acres of mature and established woodland.
Help us conserve the Forest
We open this closed area of the Forest to the public for one day each year for our annual bluebell wood event, which raises funds to help us create and conserve the Forest.
If you have enjoyed your virtual walk and would like to help the Forest thrive, you can make a donation or become a Friend of the Forest, and together we will ensure the Forest remains for future generations.
Events in the Forest
We look forward to welcoming you into the Forest to see the bluebells in person next spring. The date for this and all our events will be promoted in our monthly e-newsletter, along with the latest Forest news. Sign up here.
