Plant your own tree for the future

The Heart of England Forest has an ambitious vision to plant a new 30,000 acre broadleaf woodland across south Warwickshire and Worcestershire. We’ve planted nearly 1.9 million trees so far and gradually we are undoing the destruction of our broadleaf woodland, creating a space for wildlife to thrive and for people to reconnect with the great outdoors. Under light-filled, leafy canopies people will be able to look up and rediscover nature. Join us on the journey and be a part of this vision.
With your support we can achieve this, one tree at a time.
Four reasons to support the Heart of England Forest
- The forest is being planted for you and for our native wildlife – not for timber production. The woodland will be preserved for generations to come!
- The woodland is planted to leave lots of pasture, glades, wide pathways, ponds and wetlands. The aim is to avoid a dark, dense, inaccessible forest. This forest will be a natural woodland, full of light and air.
- The forest is open to everyone. We have waymarked routes so you can enjoy walking around the woodlands while protecting certain habitats for endangered species.
- The forest will create a continuous woodland across the heart of England. Parts of it will be wide and deep, parts just a thin ribbon of woodland between farmland. But as a ‘joined-up’ forest, it will also provide safe, green corridors for wildlife.
