Cyanotype is a photographic printing process which produces a beautiful deep blue print. This introductory session will show you how to create your own artwork using this fascinating, easy to use process. The workshop will start with a relaxing mindful walk in our beautiful forest to collect natural materials with interesting shapes to use in our prints. We will then return to base (either outdoor or indoor depending on the weather conditions) to use the material to construct a cyanotype print.
All the materials are included in the price. At the end of the session, you will be able to take home your finished print. Tea/coffee/biscuits will be provided, however, we also encourage you to bring your own packed lunch as this is full day workshop.

We host children aged 4-12 in our wonderful Forest taking advantage of all the diverse opportunities of the natural world; from cooking on an open fire to whittling, den building, orienteering, wildlife watching, wide games, or just relaxing in a wonderful wild space.
We run the sessions in two groups: one for children predominantly aged 4-7 and one for older children aged 7-12. The staff leading each group devise age appropriate activities and differentiate for the different skills and abilities of older and younger children.
